Roberto Firmino – He had not scored a goal for a while and he will be delighted to have found the back of the net against Stoke. It was a powerful effort that went in after hitting both posts, while he played a prominent role in attack throughout the game. 9

Divock Origi – He didn’t get among the scorers, but he led the line well. His movement has improved a lot since he came to England and he caused the Stoke defenders all sorts of problems. 6

Emre Can – The German added energy to the midfield to help close the game off. He is reliable in possession and made sure they managed to see it through without conceding another goal. 6

Daniel Sturridge – It was his first league goal of the season and he showed that his goal-scoring instincts remain there just minutes after coming on. 7

Alberto Moreno – The Spaniard hasn’t been rated after doing little in the game. N/A
