Liverpool managed to keep the pressure on Chelsea with another convincing victory. They were incredible once more in attack, scoring four times from 20 shots. On another day, they could have won by a bigger margin. They are putting themselves in a great position ahead of 2017 and will be confident of finishing in the top four. Simon Mignolet – The Belgian wasn’t convincing this evening and was arguably at fault for the opening goal. He had got himself into a good position, but failed to keep out Jonathan Walters’s header. Although it was a powerful effort, Mignolet got a hand to it and will be disappointed that he didn’t keep it out. 4
