Adam Lallana – 8 

Liverpool’s best performer on the day and offered a much greater threat than Emre Can when pushing forward from midfield. His goal was well taken with a superb touch to open up the space in the box to get his shot away. Has been missed.

Jordan Henderson – 7 

Came so close to scoring what would have been a contender for goal of the season with an excellent shot only stopped by an even better save. Energetic and drove forwards when he could, Henderson led by example with a trademark display.

Georgino Wijnaldum – 6

A cog in the midfield machine but he didn’t offer much more than that. Gone are his early season bursts through the middle to threaten from deep, he kept possession well but didn’t offer much of a threat.
