After last weekend’s shock defeat against Bournemouth, Jurgen Klopp would have been looking for a reaction against the Hammers, who were desperately out of form going into the fixture. Adam Lallana’s goal gave the Reds the perfect start but the Irons came back with goals from Dimitri Payet thanks to a poor wall and some appalling defending allowed Michail Antonio in. That meant that Liverpool were behind at half time having taken the lead for the first time since 2009 but Divock Origi equalised not long after the break, with neither side able to find a late winner.
