Ben Woodburn – 7

Showed what he is capable of with some exciting runs forward, especially when played on the right as a wing back in the second half. Continues to exceed expectations and he was by far the standout performer of the day for Jurgen Klopp’s team.

Divock Origi – 6

Scored a late consolation goal but wasted a number of other chances which went begging. The positive was that he got into the right positions and threatened with his runs at the Wolves defence, but didn’t find the finishing touch.

Roberto Firmino – 5

The star of the starting eleven, he dropped deep too often and had little influence, unlike his usual displays where he leads the attack. Grew into the game but was taken off just as he seemed to get going.
