Showed a few moments of real class, but was too easily dispossessed on several occasions. Those losses of the ball saw the Reds struggle to build up any momentum when they applied the pressure on Wolves. With a bit more strength and experience, he’ll be a more valuable option.

Lucas Leiva – 5

Moved to defence in the second half, but he failed to provide adequate protection for his teammates behind him. The Brazilian was calm on the ball but was caught out too often off it.

Georgino Wijnaldum – 5

Let Stearman roam free to score inside the first minute and did little of note after that. Did the simple things well enough but let the game pass by him as a spectator with little contribution, especially going forward.
