Connor Randall – 4

Let Weimann go far too easily for the second Wolves go and his inexperience was on show as he was caught out of position time and time again by their counter attacks. Substituted at half-time and it’s hard to criticise that call.

Joe Gomez – 4

Signed a new deal this week but will be hugely disappointed with his performance. His challenge in the build-up to the second goal was laughable and his pace wasn’t enough to match up with many of the Wolves attackers. Still looks rusty after a year out.

Ragnar Klavan – 5

The pick of a poor bunch at the back, he too struggled at times but his experience showed in a very young backline. Tried to get forward late on and move the ball further upfield.

Alberto Moreno – 4

Struggled to judge when to burst forward and when not to in the first half, with his late tracking back conceding the foul that led to the first goal and contributing to the second. Better second half as a wing back but lacked end product.
