How Liverpool’s players rated as Wolves grabbed a shock victory in the FA Cup

Liverpool’s only win of 2017 so far came in the FA Cup as they saw off League 2 side Plymouth Argyle, and Paul Lambert came to Anfield never having lost at the ground. When Wolves took the lead through Richard Stearman thanks to calamitous defending after 53 seconds, it seemed that fate was going to work its ways again. Andreas Weimann added a second before half-time and even a slight turn around from the Reds wasn’t enough as their breakthrough only came via Divock Origi in the dying moments. Wolves held out and will now progress to the fifth round at the expense of Liverpool as an awful week has seen their season fall apart with three home defeats in a row.

Hesitated in coming out for the first goal and paid the price. He made one smart stop later on but he returned to the worrying form which saw him dropped from the first team not so long ago.
