Worked hard and chased things down but to little effect early on. Put a great ball into the box for Firmino to equalise.

Jordan Henderson – 5

Sloppy in possession and wasted it with some poor passing and weak shots from distance. Would be expected to have had a far greater influence in getting the ball in dangerous areas.

Emre Can – 6

Tried to drive forwards but had no real impact. His determination was good but he never got the desired result and found himself too often running into a crowd of Swansea defenders.
