The league’s best attack against the league’s worst defence should have been an easy afternoon for the Reds, but instead, their title hopes look left in tatters as they continue to seek their first win of 2017. A dull first half saw Swansea shock the Anfield crowd with a Fernando Llorente double. Roberto Firmino singlehandedly drew his side back into the game, only for more woeful defending to allow Gylfi Sigurdsson to score a winner.

Inexplicably went to ground very early at the corner which led to Swansea’s opener, but had very little to do and couldn’t do anything about the second or third Swansea goals.
