Sadio Mane – 9

Superb finish for his goal, his pace and drive was a real threat down the right-hand side throughout. If there is a negative, it could only be that he didn’t offer Nathaniel Clyne the greatest protection when facing Alexis Sanchez in the second half.

Roberto Firmino – 9

Incredible movement and skill, he pounced with real instinct to give Liverpool an early lead and then set up Sadio Mane for his strike just before the break.

Philippe Coutinho – 8

His mazey footwork and creativity ran rings around the Arsenal midfield pairing and back four at times, Coutinho can certainly be happy with what was a brilliant performance and probably his best since returning from injury in the New Year.
