Wilfred Ndidi – Has been one of Leicester’s best players in recent weeks and he showed this form once again, working superbly alongside Drinkwater at the heart of the midfield to break up Sevilla attacks. Made every inch of his tall frame count, making more than ten defensive actions for his side. 8.

Danny Drinkwater – Organised his midfield well all evening, ensuring his side’s concentration didn’t dip under intense Sevilla pressure just after Morgan’s opener. Led his side with crunching – and critical – challenges that roused the crowd, and barely put a foot wrong all evening. Exceptional. 9.

Riyad Mahrez – Barely had a touch of the ball during the first-leg but had a more productive evening at the King Power, injecting pace into the counter attack. Put in a superb free-kick that led to Leicester’s critical opener and has now been involved in 6 of the Foxes’ 9 Champions League goals. 7.

Shinji Okazaki – Seemed up for the battle from the word go on Tuesday evening, pressing Sevilla’s defence high up the pitch and forcing them into conceding possession. Worked tirelessly and drove towards goal with intent whenever on the ball. Made two tackles, two blocks, an interception and a crucial clearance as he lent himself excellently in defence for his 60 minutes on the field. 8.

Marc Albrighton – Had a quiet first half but burst into life when it mattered, picking his spot and firing a low shot into the corner to send the King Power into raptures. Ran himself into the ground helping Leicester break away with pace on the counter. Put in a good shift for his team. 7.
