Jamie Vardy – Wouldn’t have expected much service when he arrived in Sevilla and that’s exactly what he got, having to feed off small scraps. Worked extremely hard up front despite the testing circumstances, and he got his reward with a huge, huge away goal. Never gave up all game. 7.
Ahmed Musa – Was merely a spectator for most of the match, and looked lost on the pitch as the hosts completely dominated. Managed to get on the ball once early in the second-half, but ran it straight out of play for a goal kick; failed to impress after Ranieri kept faith in him. 5.
Demarai Gray – Came on for the final half hour in an attempt to inject some life and pace into Leicester’s game, and within minutes he was sniffing around the edge of the Sevilla penalty area. No surprise at all that he was involved in the build-up to Vardy’s goal, as he gave Ranieri’s side a huge lift from the moment he stepped on the pitch. Almost a dead cert to start the return leg. 8.
Daniel Amartey – Came on for the final five minutes to ensure his side left Spain with only a one-goal deficit, doing as instructed. N/A.
