Christian Fuchs – Nearly had a horror start to the game when his header back to Schmeichel nearly deceived the Leicester ‘keeper. Failed to track the run of Sarabia behind him to power home Sevilla’s first of the night, and looked all at sea whenever the hosts attacked. Struggled on the night. 5.
Wes Morgan – Is indebted to Schmeichel after he made up for his poor late challenge inside the box early on, but couldn’t capitalise on this as he continued to defend woefully. Was entirely at fault for Leicester’s second after being out-muscled by someone half his size, and has lost all confidence. 3.
Robert Huth – Was beaten countless times in the air – despite his tall physical stature – as he found it hard to keep on top of Sevilla’s attackers. Is another Leicester player a shadow of himself from last season, and his lack of discipline and communication on Wednesday was very poor. 4.
Danny Simpson – Struggled with the pace of Sevilla when defending, getting beaten on numerous occasions, and didn’t advance forward once to try and force a Foxes’ attack. 4.
