How Leeds United’s pursuit of Moise Kean could lead to Paul Pogba’s Manchester United exit

Leeds United have been linked with a move for Juventus striker Moise Kean this week. The Whites have been linked with a move for the player before. Now, Sport.es has reported that Leeds, Marseille and Galatasaray are three teams in the running for the Juventus talent.

Kean, who made his senior debut for Italy last night, is represented by Italian super agent Mino Raiola. Known for doing business with the likes of Mario Balotelli, Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Italian is determined to get a good move for his client.

It now seems that a move for Kean could inadvertently impact the future of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

The report from Sport suggests that Raiola will be in touch with Juventus soon to discuss the future of Kean. One option they will discuss is a loan switch to Leeds, where he can grow under the stewardship of Marcelo Bielsa.

But when talking to Juventus, he will also reportedly broach the subject of Pogba potentially returning to Turin from Manchester United. The Frenchman has failed to win over plenty of fans since his £89 million move back to Old Trafford in 2016.

Rumours have circulated this week that Pogba wants to return to Juventus and bring an end to his tumultuous stay at Manchester United. Raiola will be bargaining for Kean’s best move whilst potentially offering Juve something sweet in return, the start of discussions over Pogba’s return.

It appears that Leeds’ transfer dealings with Juventus could end up being a side party to Pogba’s exit from rivals Manchester United.
