A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to criticise their Premier League fixture pile-up between 6 and 12 July.
Spurs return to action on Friday night as they host Manchester United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, their first game since March when English football was suspended.
Jose Mourinho’s charges then take on West Ham the following Tuesday, before a nine-day gap until they travel to Sheffield United on 2 July.

The next batch of Premier League fixtures has now been released, with Tottenham set for a heavy week featuring three games in seven days, all live on Sky Sports.
Spurs host Everton on Monday 6 July, kicking off at 8pm, while three days later, on Thursday 9 July, Tottenham travel to Bournemouth, with a 6pm kickoff.
Then another three days later, on Sunday 12 July, Spurs host North London rivals Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a 4:30pm kickoff.
In addition, the above teams will all have had at least one more day’s rest than Spurs in each of the fixtures.
Needless to say, quite a few Tottenham fans aren’t pleased, and made their feelings known on social media:
