Coolly dealt with by Michael Keane in the Burnley defence and with little to no service, Costa had a frustrating afternoon. He kept calm and didn’t lose his temper, but he never looked like scoring either.

Eden Hazard – 6

One of those days were little came off for the Belgian, Hazard tried plenty of skills and moves to get past a resolute backline but strength in numbers proved too much for him on a day when luck deserted him.
