Looked solid enough at the back, but when Chelsea were throwing everyone forward in an attempt to create a winning goal, he offered very little. A lack of inventiveness in the opposition half meant that his impact was limited.

David Luiz – 5

Looked rattled and frustrated from the start, his usual calm and composed air that has seen him praised so often this season making way for the rash Luiz of old. Booked for dissent in a moment which summed up his afternoon.

Gary Cahill – 6

Made one superb block to stop a Burnley breakthrough, but did struggle at times with the pace of Andre Gray when he drifted wide and looked to cut back inside.
