Victor Moses – 6

Happy to track back in the first half and looked to get forward in the second, but he did not have his usual impact as he found himself overwhelmed with defenders waiting to face up against him. Seemed to be struggling with an injury late on.

Nemanja Matic – 6

A little pedestrian on the ball at times, he offered more defensive protection than Cesc Fabregas which was perhaps not as necessary after Ander Herrera’s red card

N’Golo Kante – 8

Not best known for his scoring abilities but he has now racked up two against Jose Mourinho’s side this season, as he found space in the middle to curl the ball straight into the bottom corner to mark off a great all round display as has become almost customary from the midfielder.

Marcos Alonso – 7

Looked to get forward and create space on the flank when it was a real challenge to do so, he also did a good job when dropping back to support Gary Cahill as he was under increasing pressure when on the ball in the first half.
