Cesar Azpilicueta – 7
Continued his usual form of being consistently strong, reliable and excellent. Rarely looked troubled on or off the ball, looking to play out from the back while breaking up Brentford’s attacking moves easily.
John Terry – 7
Commanded the backline excellently, with his leadership skills clear. He made a number of interceptions and almost every aerial ball that came his way was cleared away comfortably by the captain. Such a performance will never grow old for Chelsea fans.
Kurt Zouma – 7
Still a little nervous and rusty after such a long period on the sidelines, but this was an improvement on his display against Peterborough in the third round. Solid and calm on the ball, he showed that he’s ready to compete for a starting place.
