Cesc Fabregas – It was a huge call to start the midfielder ahead of Nemanja Matic and he worked hard in the middle of the park. However, he didn’t manage to influence the match in the way that he usually does. He made a few good forward passes, but it wasn’t enough to qualify as a good performance. 6

N’Golo Kante – The Frenchman usually comes in for a lot of praise in the big matches, but he was under par this evening. He didn’t manage to complete a tackle and his positioning was questionable at times. 5

Marcos Alonso – It was a typically impressive performance from the Spaniard, with his aerial dominance standing out. He won all four of his aerial duels and Chelsea use him well in attack in his sense. In addition, he completed three tackles during the match and provided a foundation for Eden Hazard to thrive. 7

Pedro – The Spaniard was very impressive as he completed three dribbles and made four ball retrievals. It was a slightly different role for Pedro as he was moved to right wing back at half-time, but he adapted well and deserves a lot of credit for his performance. 7
