Pedro – 6
His pace was a threat straight from kick-off and he didn’t allow West Ham’s defence to settle at all. That said, he had a frustrating evening with little service and would have hoped to have more of an impact.
Diego Costa – 7
Pounced at the perfect time to find the back of the net early in the second period, but was quiet for much of the evening. A superb save from West Ham goalkeeper Darren Randolph was all that stopped him from registering a second.
Eden Hazard – 8
Took his goal superbly in a brilliant counter-attacking move at pace, bursting past Darren Randolph before calmly stroking the ball into the back of the net. Their biggest attacking threat throughout and dangerous on the attack every time Chelsea looked to get forward.
