Kurt Zouma – 7

His strength in the air and in the tackle were both needed as Wolves threw cross after cross into the Chelsea box, but the Frenchman looked comfortable throughout and dominated in the air.

John Terry – 7

Rarely troubled, he organised the back three well and showed his leadership from the start. Without regular game time he has looked a little exposed on other occasions this season, but this time out he produced one of his finest displays of the season.

Nathan Ake – 6

Helder Costa gave him a very tough afternoon but he did not look troubled. Grew in confidence as the game went on and looked to get forward when possible when the pressure grew on the Blues to open the scoring.
