How Chelsea rated as they dismissed Wolves to progress in the FA Cup

With two of the four Premier League teams to be in FA Cup action before this tie kicked off on Saturday evening beaten, another held to a replay and another requiring a late winner, Chelsea had every right to fear an upset at Molineux. Wolves started well and bombarded Chelsea with more crosses than they have faced in quite a while, and hit the post early on. Chelsea grew into the game and capitalised on every inch of freedom allowed to them, with Pedro sneaking in at the back post to open the scoring in the second half. The Blues looked comfortable from then onwards, with Diego Costa adding a second late on.

Watched George Saville’s effort beat him and cannon back off the post, and looked a little nervy from that moment on. His punching was solid but he certainly seemed to be lacking in confidence on occasions.
