Borussia Dortmund are the latest club to join the race for Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran having enquired about how much a deal would cost.
There are several clubs already in the race to sign the Colombian forward including Paris Saint Germain, Bayern Munich and West Ham.
Dortmund have now become the latest side to make a move to try and bring the 21-year-old to the Signal Iduna Park.
However, the German club have been made aware of how much Aston Villa would want for the striker and their stance over continuing with their purist has been made clear.

Aston Villa set Jhon Duran asking price
Aston Villa have set an asking price of £71 million on Jhon Duran, according to Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra.
Borussia Dortmund asked the Premier League club how much a move would cost for Duran and were quoted the substantial fee.
The 2024 Champions League finalists have decided after hearing Villa’s price tag that they will be ending their chase of Duran.
The Colombian international, as mentioned, has a large amount of interest, however, there are very few clubs that could get anywhere close to £71 million.
TBR Football understands that Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich were keen on Duran, with the French champions suggesting the possibility of a swap deal involving Randal Kolo Muani.
West Ham also remain a big admirer of Duran and the player himself wanted the move to the London Stadium last summer, but a deal could not be agreed.
Does Jhon Duran actually want to leave Aston Villa?
Sources close to the player have told TBR Football that Duran’s priority for now is simply being first-choice and at Villa, that is uncertain.
The striker has started just four times for the Midlands club in the Premier League this season, despite netting on seven occasions.
Duran is keen to now be starting matches and this is why he would still consider leaving Villa Park, but he would need to be guaranteed regular football.
