Douglas Costa – He was kept relatively quiet in the first half, but he grew into the game after the break. The Brazilian’s pace caused Arsenal a number of problems and he rarely gave the ball away. Moreover, he contributed the assist for the first goal. 6
Robert Lewandowski – His movement was superb throughout the ninety minutes and it is obvious that he is one of the world’s best strikers. He scored a superb header to give his side the lead after half-time and nearly added another as his strike was pushed onto the crossbar. It was a superb performance, with the only black mark being the penalty that he conceded in the first half. 8
Joshua Kimmich – The German international was tidy after coming on, but did little to warrant a rating. N/A
Thomas Muller – He was left out of the starting eleven and only given minutes to prove his worth, but he did so by scoring the fifth goal with a smart finish. 7
Rafinha – The right back did nothing during his time on the pitch to deserve a rating. N/A
