How Arsenal's players rated in their 5-1 West Ham thrashing
There will be few games easier for Arsene Wenger and co. than Saturday evening’s victory over West Ham United at the London Stadium. The Irons folded early on and it was an easy game for the Gunners who saw out the result comfortably without any real trouble.
Alexis Sanchez set up Mesut Ozil to open the scoring before adding a hat-trick of top quality finishes, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also on the scoresheet with a fantastic finish. Andy Carroll may have scored a second half header but that did little to dampen the enjoyment of the game for Gunners fans.
Petr Cech – 6
Had very little to do. When called upon, he did well, though could possibly have done better if he had woken up for Carroll’s header.
