Aaron Ramsey – He was one of the more threatening Arsenal players as he attempted four shots on goal during the match. The Welshman made one key pass on Saturday and completed 88% of his 90 attempted passes. Despite his influence in possession, his end product wasn’t at the level required. 6
Granit Xhaka – The central midfielder hasn’t lived up to the reputation that he earned from his time in the Bundesliga. This was one of his better performances as he completed two key passes and created the goal for Alexis Sanchez. However, he failed to win a tackle during the match and that will be a disappointment. 5
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – He managed to shake off the knock that he picked up against Lincoln City to start against West Brom. His driving runs from midfield caused problems, but like many of the Arsenal attackers, his final ball wasn’t good. 5
Theo Walcott – The attacker will have been keen to show why he should have been included in the England squad, but he couldn’t do that. He rarely got into the game and attempted only one shot. This was a match to forget for the 28-year-old. 4
