Granit Xhaka – There were some positive signs from the Swiss international as he continued to look for forward passes and there were a couple that led to good positions for his team. He was one of the better performers in yellow. 6
Mohamed Elneny – The Egyptian ran a lot in the middle of the park and was tidy in possession, but he lacked invention and often slowed down Arsenal’s build up play. It isn’t clear what he offers in central midfield. 4
Theo Walcott – The Englishman was enthusiastic in possession and tried to make something happen for his side with three completed dribbles. However, his final ball wasn’t good enough when he got into dangerous positions. 5
Mesut Ozil – This wasn’t the German’s finest performance as he didn’t influence the match as much as he did against West Ham. He tried too hard when he got on the ball in the final third and his delivery was lacking this evening. 3
