Olivier Giroud – Lincoln City dealt with his physicality well during the first half and he was kept relatively quiet. He managed to get a goal after the break, but it wasn’t his best performance. 6
Alexis Sanchez – He may be considered one of the best players in the Premier League, but Sanchez was disappointing on Sunday. Arsenal were poor in attack in the first half and the Chilean was one of the main culprits of wasting possession. Although he scored a great goal, he didn’t show the professionalism that was required. 5
Mesut Ozil – It was good for the German to get some minutes under his belt after his illness and he was great to watch in the second half. However, he was a disappointment until Arsenal took the lead in the same way that Sanchez was. 6
Francis Coquelin – He was okay after coming on, but Arsenal were already in a dominant position and little can be taken from the Frenchman’s display. 5
Lucas Perez – The Spaniard was bright and looked eager to impress, but his main contribution was a poor dive when the side already had a convincing lead. It showed a lack of class from the forward. 4
