Alexis Sanchez – The Chilean worked tirelessly as he often does, completing seven dribbles, eight ball recoveries and two key passes. He made some good touches in the final third, but he didn’t get into goal-scoring positions as often as he usually does. 7
Danny Welbeck – It was a huge call to start with Danny Welbeck and he ran a lot for his side, working the channels well. That said, he didn’t impact the game enough and only had 23 touches of the ball. 4
Gabriel Paulista – The side didn’t concede after the Brazilian came onto the pitch and he did relatively well after coming on. He has proven himself to be a good defender at times this season and he can be pleased with his performance. 6
Olivier Giroud – The Frenchman was brought on to try and get a winner for the hosts, but he was unable to have the desired impact. He didn’t get the service that he usually thrives on which didn’t help. 5
Alex Iwobi – The winger was lively after coming on and caused a few problems in his short time on the pitch. 6
