David Ospina – The goalkeeper delivered a good performance deputising for Petr Cech and made several key stops to keep his side in the game. His handling was a particular highlight as he was always aware of what was going on around him. 7

Hector Bellerin – He wasn’t great defensively and was beaten on numerous occasions by Leroy Sane. City got a lot of joy down Arsenal’s right-hand side and that will be a concern for Arsene Wenger. In attack, the Spaniard offered support, but his final ball was poor. 5

Shkodran Mustafi – The German stepped up in the second half after the withdrawal of Laurent Koscielny and helped his defence restrict City to few clear cut chances. His header to level the scores was excellent and underlined the threat that he poses from set pieces. 8

Laurent Koscielny – The centre back wasn’t great in the first half and didn’t cover himself in glory for either of the goals. That said, it was a blow for Arsenal to lose him as he helps to organise the back four and they will be hoping that his injury isn’t too serious. 5

Nacho Monreal – He offered great support to Alexis Sanchez down the left-hand side and caused a lot of problems for Manchester City with his movement. The Spaniard’s final ball wasn’t the best, but he can be pleased with his performance. 7
