Alexis Sanchez – Going into Saturday’s clash with five goals in his last three games against Hull, he gave the visitor’s defence a nightmare once more. Ran rings around Silva’s back-line, hitting the post after a jinking run before giving Arsenal a deserved – albeit controversial – lead. Seemed to be everywhere on the pitch; a superb display, and put the icing on the cake with a second in injury-time. 9.
Mohamed Elneny – Given just over 20 minutes of game-time after replacing Walcott, and he helped Arsenal slow the game down and re-assert the home side’s control. 6.
Danny Welbeck – Arguably came on with the intention of helping his side finish Hull off, but instead, it was all hands-on-deck as the visitors bombarded the Arsenal goal. 5.
Lucas Perez – Much like Welbeck, he spent his ten-minute cameo at the other end of the pitch to what he’s used to – will be hoping for another chance to impress soon. 5.
