Francis Coquelin – Barely made an impact during the first half, failing to make an impact on the game. On the end of apainful clash within a minute of the second-half but decided to run it off, but his decision-making and end product left a lot to be desired. 4.
Theo Walcott – Hull’s new-found defensive discipline under Silva left him with little space to exploit in behind, and he showed his frustrations with an ill-tempered moment in the second-half that earnt him a yellow. Was taken off after a disappointing day. 5.
Alex Iwobi – Very sloppy play at times on Saturday, guilty of giving the ball away too easily on numerous occasions and struggling to unlock Hull’s defence himself. Was very industrious in the final-third and ran himself into the ground, but just lacked a cutting edge. 6.
Mesut Ozil – With Sanchez dropping deep into a midfield position frequently it was a frustrating afternoon for the German, who proved largely ineffective in the opening half. Was much more himself in the second 45, showing his silky skills in the final third. 6.
