Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso was in friendly action for Argentina on Friday night.
The 27-year-old may be struggling for game time at Spurs but he has no such issues for the reigning world champions.
Lo Celso started for Lionel Scaloni’s side in their friendly with El Salvador at the Lincoln Financial Field in Pennsylvania, United States.
The Tottenham ace delivered a solid display and capped it off with Argentina’s final goal of the match.
Lautaro Martinez put Lo Celso through on goal and he found the bottom left corner with a left-footed finish in the 52nd minute.

The Spurs man had also contributed to Argentina’s second goal of the day, not long before the interval.
Lo Celso attempted to volley goalwards but mis-hit the ball, only for Enzo Fernandez to tap in at the left post.
Argentina had opened the scoring in the 16th minute as fellow Tottenham ace Cristian Romero headed home from a corner.
How did the Argentine press rate Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso?
TyC Sports gave the Spurs ace a 7 out of 10 rating, which was the joint-highest from them on the night.
They wrote: “He tried to show off his style, just one or two touches.
“He stepped into the area and there had more impact on the game, for instance helping to create Enzo’s goal for 2-0. He scored the third with finesse.”
Meanwhile, La Popu gave Lo Celso an 8 out of 10 rating for his efforts on the day.
In addition, Goal.com went with the same score for the Spurs ace, writing: “A really, really good showing for Lo Celso – who has been struggling for consistent minutes at the club level.
“He showed exactly why Scaloni still trusts him in the XI ahead of this Summer with a fantastic midfield performance and a goal to top it off.”
All in all, a solid display for Lo Celso, who once again shows his quality for his nation despite struggling for opportunities at Tottenham.
Lo Celso has sadly never really got going at Spurs following his £27million move years ago. It’s probably time for him to move on at the end of the season.
