‘Hopefully see Saliba now’: Arsenal fans react as Sokratis nears Fenerbahce move

Arsenal fans have been having their say on social media as reports in the media claim defender, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, could be on his way out of the club.

The Daily Mail claims the Gunners defender is attracting interest from Fenerbahce and is thought to be close to agreeing to a deal with the Turkish giants.

Sokratis would represent another move in the market for Arsenal as they look to clear the decks a bit in January. A move for the Greek would follow the decision to let Sead Kolasinac to move on.

Gunners supporters, then, have been discussing the potential deal on Twitter and looking at some of the comments, it appears seeing the experienced Sokratis moved on is just what some Arsenal fans want to see.

Sokratis, for all his efforts, seems like he won’t be missed too much by those who are regulars at The Emirates.

Kinda feel a bit sorry for Sokratis tbh he looked decent in some games but if he’s not part of the plan then he definitely should be moved on
