A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have given their thoughts on Mohamed Bouhafsi suggestion that Spurs are attempting to make a late swoop for Victor Osimhen.
The Lille ace enjoyed a superb season last time out, claiming 18 goals and six assists in 38 games in all competitions, while his Ligue 1 tally stood at 13 goals and five assists from 27 games.
L’Equipe claimed earlier this week that Osimhen is on the verge of completing a move to Napoli for €81million (around £73million).

However, RMC Sport editor Bouhafsi claimed on Tuesday afternoon – as translated by Football London – that, while, a switch to the Serie A side is close, there’s still some uncertainty.
“Victor Osimhen chose Naples but it is not done yet,” he wrote. “The player changed agents a few weeks ago and that created some differences.
“Napoli must negotiate with these agents. The Italian club is trying to complete this within 24/48 hours.
“Two English clubs including Tottenham and another whose name has not filtered try to slip into this uncertainty. But Napoli look a lot ahead.”
With Spurs having suffered earlier this season when Harry Kane and Son Heung-min were both injured, Jose Mourinho could well be looking for reinforcements up front.
Here is what some Tottenham fans on social media have said about the speculation on the 6ft 1in goal machine:
