Leeds United are interested in Swiss international midfielder Steven Zuber. Bild reported the news last week and there has now been confirmation from Yorkshire Evening Post chief Phil Hay on his official twitter account.
Despite that, there has been some scepticism over a potential deal for the Swiss star. This is a player featuring semi-regularly in the Bundesliga. He played in the Champions League this season for his German club. On top of that, he helped tear Belgium apart in the UEFA Nations League recently and even scored again a Brazil side including the likes of Alisson and David Luiz at the World Cup.

The report from Bild, on New Years’ Day, also mentioned that Hoffenheim could be letting fellow winger Vincenzo Grifo go. To add credence to the initial report, that has now happened.
As reported by Badische Zeitung, the Italian international is set to join former club SC Freiburg on loan for the rest of the season, This is with a view to a permanent exit. So with Bild getting it right with this departure, it no doubt suggests they were serious when mentioning Zuber as a potential Leeds United player.
Hopefully, like with Grifo, this deal does go ahead.
