Amid all of the chaos at Tottenham Hotspur last night, Gary Neville did admit that he’s had to backtrack on his opinion of Son Heung-Min.
Neville was speaking early on in Sky Sports’ live coverage of the game, before most of the chaos had ensued.

And Neville admitted that he had previously thought that Son’s legs had gone at Tottenham.
However, after a positional change under Ange Postecoglou, a move to central striker, the pundit thought Son looked revitalised.
Neville said: “How good is Son playing as a centre-forward?
“Honestly a couple of years ago you were watching him and I thought his legs had gone.
“He’s just revitalised, back to his best, brilliant player, he’s thriving in that central role.”
And despite how the game unfolded, Son did remain a threat even when Spurs were down to nine men.
Tottenham started the game quite brilliantly before emotions seemingly got the better of Cristian Romero – a player who often struggles to keep his head.
And it looked for a moment as if Son had put Spurs 2-0 up after lovely work by Brennan Johnson.

Guglielmo Vicario also had a brilliant evening for Postecoglou’s side despite conceding four goals.
And much like £22m Son, Neville did admit that he previously had doubts over Vicario’s longevity at Tottenham.

But the pundit did now declare Vicario an outstanding asset for this Spurs side.
There will obviously be a ton for Postecoglou to digest in the fall out from this historic affair.
And one of his biggest tasks will now be to formulate a back four given all of the players he lost tonight.
Spurs already had a thin squad, and their manager will now be without some key names.
Perhaps Ashley Phillips, a player Postecoglou has praised in the past, will now see Premier League minutes for the first time.
Phillips has been on the bench for Spurs in the league three times this season but is yet to make his debut.
