Tottenham Hotspur appear to have done some fine business with the signing of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Spurs sealed the Denmark midfielder’s transfer back in early August, with full-back Kyle Walker-Peters going to Southampton.

Hojbjerg actually came in for criticism on his debut against Everton, whom he struggled against.
Since then though, Hojbjerg has been one of Tottenham’s best players.
The star has been super busy in the middle of the park for Jose Mourinho, and an interesting statistic has come to light early doors.
According to official statistics, Hojbjerg has made 347 passes in the Premier League so far this season – which is more than anyone else in the whole division.
One wonders what this may now mean for Harry Winks, who was always been thought of as Tottenham’s pass-master.
TBR’s View – Does bench role beckon for Winks?
Hojbjerg has been brilliant for Tottenham so far barring that shaky debut against Everton.
The fact he has made so many passes already is particularly interesting.

It is almost has though the 25-year-old has assumed the role of Winks, whose job it was to collect the ball in those deep positions and recycle possession.
Although most of Hojbjerg’s passes will have been conservative, he did produce an incisive assist for Serge Aurier against Manchester United, suggesting £50,000-a-week star Winks (Spotrac) may now have to get used to a place on the bench.
He’s started all three Premier League games so far, but with Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso both playing very well, Mourinho may just see Hojbjerg’s game as a reason to start overlooking the England international.
