‘Hojbjerg back up’: Tottenham fans react to links with Zenit’s Wilmar Barrios

Tottenham fans have been reacting to the latest reports which link the club with Zenit St Petersburg midfielder, Wilmar Barrios. 

Primer Tiempo claims that Spurs are among the clubs to be interested in the Colombian star. The interest would renew talk from 2018, where Spurs were said to have first identified Barrios as a potential signing.

Barrios, 27, has been in fine form since moving to Russia in 2019 but is thought to be open to moving to another league to develop his game further and progress.

Spurs fans, then, have been discussing the potential of signing Barrios again, and while some believe he’d be a good addition, there’s plenty of supporters who are getting flashbacks to that 2018 period.
