Rangers defender Lee Hodson has returned to Ibrox after suffering an injury out on loan at St Mirren, as reported by the Scottish Sun.
They report that Northern Ireland international Hodson is unlikely to play for St Mirren again after being ruled out for a number of weeks with an ankle problem.
St Mirren have reportedly confirmed that he has gone back to the Gers for treatment after picking up the injury in a match against Celtic.
According to Transfermarkt, Hodson is out of contract at Ibrox at the end of the season and his latest injury blow will do absolutely nothing for his hopes of landing an extended deal.

And with James Tavernier and Jon Flanagan ahead of him in the Rangers pecking order, his hopes of staying at Ibrox beyond the end of the season look bleak.
Much of his success in trying to find a new employer will depend on how well he can prove his fitness on the back of this latest setback.
But having been away from Ibrox as his team-mates have made such strides under Steven Gerrard, this latest blow looks likely to be an absolute hammer blow to his already slim hopes of earning an extended stay with the resurgent Gers.
