Arsenal legend Tony Adams was spotted watching the U-21 side last night in their EFL Trophy clash against Swindon Town.
Football London reporter Chris Wheatley posted to Twitter a photo of ‘Mr. Arsenal’ in attendance for the young Gunners clash with the League Two side.
Arsenal lost 2-1 to Swindon with Joel Ideho scoring the sole goal for the Gunners on the night. An own goal from Kido Taylor-Hart, however, meant that the hosts secured all three points.

Indeed, was a big night in general for the young talents from the north London side. Folarin Balogun and Tyreese John-Jules both made their England U-21 debuts whilst Arsenal were facing Swindon.
Whilst the game ended in defeat for Arsenal, fans on social media were largely pleased with how the youngster performed against a professional team.

And the appearance of Adams at the game, as well as Per Mertesacker, was of course well some Arsenal fans were happy to see. Moreover, it once again opened the debate of whether or not the iconic former captain should return to the club.
Here’s what some Arsenal fans had to say about Adams attending the EFL Trophy loss to Swindon on Twitter…
