New Tottenham Hotspur signing Djed Spence has praised Ryan Sessegnon, in conversation with Spurs TV.
On Tuesday, Tottenham confirmed the signing of the 21-year-old from Middlesbrough.
According to Sky Sports, Spurs will pay an initial £12.5m for the defender.

Tottenham could also pay a further £7.5m in performance-related add-ons.
Spence becomes Tottenham’s sixth signing of the summer.
The England Under-21 star joins Fraser Forster, Ivan Perisic, Clement Lenglet, Yves Bissouma and Richarlison.
Speaking to the Spurs media team, Spence spoke about Sessegnon, who he knows well from their time at Fulham.
“I grew up with Ryan at Fulham, through the ranks from Under-12s to Under-16s,” said Spence.
“We played a Premier League tournament together and won that.
“He went with the first team at a young age and obviously his career has gone very well so far.”
Spence also shared what the £25million left wing-back told him about playing for Tottenham.
“He said just be prepared to work hard,” said the N17 newcomer.

Sessegnon has had to work very hard throughout his time at Spurs, and was also unlucky with injuries.
However, he won Antonio Conte over last season, and his future at Tottenham now looks bright.
Spence is a top player with the right attitude, and Conte and Fabio Paratici have wanted him all summer.
It’ll be exciting to see how he fares at Tottenham, ahead of – and during – an exciting season for the club.
