‘High hopes for him’, ‘big fan’: Some West Brom fans in awe of forward’s display for U23s
A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have given their thoughts on Owen Windsor’s impressive goalscoring display for the Baggies Under-23s on Monday.
West Brom’s youngsters kicked off their Premier League 2 campaign with a hard-fought 3-1 victory over their Aston Villa counterparts in Great Barr.
Baggies midfielder Zak Brown opened the scoring in the first half with a neat first-time finish from Tyrese Dyce’s delivery.

Although Jaden Philogene-Bidace slammed home an equaliser in the second half, Windsor was on hand to edge West Brom over the line with two late penalties.
Windsor’s first spot kick was awarded following a Villa handball, while the second came about after being brought down by Bradley Burton in the box.
The teenager now has three goals in his last two, following his effort in the EFL Trophy win over Swindon Town last week.
And some West Brom fans on social media were pleased with Windsor’s latest efforts, tipping him for success as the season goes on:
Surely Owen Windsor might make the bench vs Harrogate Town?

Just seen the PL2 highlights, Windsor looks a decent player, what’s happened to Cheikh Diaby though? #WBA

I bleat on about this quite a bit but Owen Windsor’s outstanding recent form for WBA is a mix of good academy coaching and his own decision to go and play step 4 nonleague last season when he was 17/18.
Get the kids out playing men’s football sooner. #NonLeague
