It was no surprise to see Greg Docherty leave Rangers on loan during the January transfer window after a quiet first-half of the season at Ibrox.
Docherty went into the new year having not played for the Gers since August. So a loan move to Hibernian looked to be an excellent one for the midfielder as he looks to catch Steven Gerrard’s eye.

And based on the start he has made, it would be difficult for the Rangers boss to ignore him right now.
Docherty bagged his second goal for Jack Ross’s men at the weekend as they beat Kilmarnock 2-1 at Rugby Park. And it was a stunner.

And it appears that the large majority of the Hibs supporters are hoping that there may be scope for a permanent deal to be done at the end of the season.
They have been hugely impressed by the impact Docherty has made since moving to Easter Road. Plenty cannot understand why Rangers were willing to let him go last month.
And it seems that a number of Hibs fans feel that they definitely got the better end of the January deal that also saw Florian Kamberi head to Ibrox on loan.
Here is how some of their supporters reacted to the Rangers loanee’s latest display…
