Tottenham seem to be getting back on the right track after a slow start to the season.
Indeed, while Spurs may not be where they want to be in the table, they beat Brentford last weekend, while they were also victorious against Coventry in the Carabao Cup.
Brennan Johnson was key in both of those games, scoring a late winner against Coventry, and bagging a crucial goal against Brentford.
Speaking at the Tottenham Fan Forum, Heung-Min Son has been discussing the Tottenham star’s recent form, and he’s been full of praise for the Welshman.
Indeed, Son has claimed that Johnson has stepped up massively in recent weeks, and he’s over the moon for his teammate.

Heung-Min Son praises Brennan Johnson
Son spoke about how Johnson has stepped up and regained his confidence.
“Brennan has stepped up. He needed the love he needed to talk, he had unbelievable support from the staff and the team and he has stepped up in the last two weeks with two important goals,” Son said.
“That’s what we need, it’s not just from the captains, it could be any one of us, friends, teammates, just talk it through and if he needs anything speak to me. Brennan is a fantastic kid and I was so happy to see him doing so well.”
Everyone loves Brennan Johnson
Brennan Johnson has improved in recent weeks, and while his form has stepped up, he’s also been spoken about so highly by his teammates.
Indeed, as Son says, Johnson is a fantastic kid who everyone loves, while James Maddison has said similar recently.
“He works so hard for the team and made so many runs in behind to stretch Brentford,” Maddison said.
“How many times did he come short and Pedro (Porro) clipped a ball for him to chase? It creates more space in the middle for me and (Dejan) Kulusevski.
“Unselfish stuff like that people don’t always see. So when he does score, and they can shout his name, I was just getting them going.
“That will mean a lot to him and his family here. That is back-to-back goals. He is a great kid and I love him so I was just trying to give him confidence.”
Johnson is clearly a popular figure at Tottenham, and the support from his teammates in recent weeks has seemingly helped him improve on the pitch as well.
