Tottenham striker Richarlison finally got his moment this weekend and Heung-Min Son has praised his fellow attacker.
The Brazilian forward netted twice to help see of Newcastle and finally looked the part in a Spurs shirt.
Richarlison has struggled massively since signing for big money from Everton. However, against the Magpies, he looked very much a striker who can fire Tottenham to success.
Of course, Richarlison’s place in the XI meant his captain, Heung-Min Son, was moved to a wider position.

However, Son is happy to play where he’s needed and he admitted to Football.London that he feels Richarlison is even better in the box than he is.
“I think the gaffer probably has a different idea to play against deep sides so, it’s just my feeling, he wanted to just create more quality balls inside the box. Richy is obviously doing a great job when he’s inside the box and I think he’s doing a better job than me when he’s in the box, he’s a proper striker,” Son said.
Richarlison finding form can be massive for Tottenham
Given how poorly Richarlison has done for Spurs since he signed, the fact he seems to have hit a bit of form will feel like a new signing for them.
Richarlison obviously has plenty of quality in the locker and he showed with Everton that he can indeed be a top goal scorer for a Premier League club.
His performance at the weekend was more like what Spurs thought they were signing and his two goals were very well taken.
Richarlison has obviously got over his main injury problems and that will only help him further.
The Brazilian will definitely want to impress and while James Maddison is out injured, there’s definitely a chance for Richarlison to cement himself in the XI for a month or two.
