Tottenham Hotspur and Brazil star Richarlison has praised Endrick, a player Spurs are reportedly keeping tabs on.

Endrick is one of the most highly rated youngsters in world football, leading to interest from the world’s top clubs.

The 16-year-old is already playing in the Palmeiras first-team, becoming the youngest player and goalscorer in their history.

Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola claimed earlier this year that Spurs want to sign Endrick.

Meanwhile, BBC Sport claimed that Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are also eyeing the young prodigy.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid are apparently in pursuit of Endrick too.

Needless to say, Endrick is a player in demand, and Richarlison is the latest to laud the youngster’s talent.

The Tottenham ace compared Endrick to Adriano, one of the best strikers in the world in the 2000s.

“Trust me, I can say that Endrick is impressive, he’s very strong and talented,” Richarlison said, via The Mirror.

“He reminds me of Adriano. I watched him playing with Brasil and Palmeiras; I think in two years, he’ll arrive in Europe.”

Richarlison has enjoyed his own rise to prominence over the past few years.

In the last five-and-a-half years, he has progressed from Fluminense to Watford, Everton and now Spurs.

He has also won 40 Brazil caps, scoring 19 goals, including two at this year’s World Cup.

For him to be singing Endrick’s praises is testament to just what an outstanding talent the teenager is.

Big move on the cards in 2024?

As per Sky Sports, Endrick can sign any prospective deal with a new club next year before actually making the move following his 18th birthday in July 2024.

So while Tottenham – or any other suitors – can’t sign him just yet, it says a lot how so many clubs are in pursuit of him already.

According to Fabrizio Romano, he has a €60million (£52million) release clause.

It’s high for a player so young, but if he matches his potential, it could go on to be an absolute bargain.
