‘He’s too good for us’: Leeds fans react to performance of Raphinha in Crystal Palace loss

Leeds once again conceded four yesterday as Crystal Palace hammered them 4-1 at Selhurst Park.

Ebere Eze was the star of the show for the Eagles, scoring and setting one up to give Palace a comfortable 2-0 lead before Patrick Bamford got one back. However, a Helder Costa own goal and a Jordan Ayew finish in the second half sealed the deal for the home side.

The game was marred by VAR controversy once again. Bamford seeing a goal ruled out for nothing more than an arm being millimetres offside.

However, among all the negatives and anger from Leeds fans, some supporters did find a bit of solace in the cameo performance of summer signing, Raphinha.

The winger put in a good display after replacing Costa at the break and could well force Marcelo Bielsa into a change following the resumption in a few weeks’ time.
